FHF Administrators, a division of First Health Finance, offers an outsourced debt collection service to medical practices in South Africa. Outstanding patient accounts cause cash flow problems for practices, and therefore your patients accounts should be collected as soon as possible. FHF Administrators has an exclusive on-seller agreement with ITC Business Administrators, and is able to offer medical practices the use of the ITC letter, a very powerful tool in activating defaulting debtors. The ITC name is well known, and associated with being listed on the credit bureau, thereby affecting the ability of an individual to obtain credit. This letter is highly effective in activating payment from debtors, and numerous companies in South Africa have been using it for years. In addition, FHF Administrators offers free listing and delisting on the credit bureau, after an ITC letter has been sent out.
The letter sent includes your practice details, so debtors contact the practice, and make payment into the practice bank account. Should the letter not yield a payment, the debtor can then be handed over to FHF Administrators, who will make telephonic contact and negotiate payment. The collection fees are contingency based, on a "no success, no charge" basis.
